Drive against drunken travelling

Palakkad: Next time when you sip a drink in trains either mixing it with coke or straight, be cautious. You will not only break your journey,but may end up in jail or may have to pay fine. 
Trivandrum division of the RPF has launched a drive against the presence of drunken passengers in trains and platforms as part of its initiatives to curb offences against women. 
K J Joy, Divisional Safety Commissioner (DSC)of the RPF, told TOI here that 15 such cases have been detected from different trains and platforms during three nights of the drive.He said all those booked have been subjected to medical check-ups and had been let off with a directive to appear before the railway court during its next sitting.
