Thrissur Railway Passengers’ Association- TRPA is the confluence of all the stake holders who are interested in the development of Railway facilities in and around Thrissur. Naturally, all the people who avail the Railway facilities from Thrissur and other neighbouring stations are automatically the members of this association. Due to historic reasons, commuters from Thrissur towards Ernakulam, Kozhikode and Palakkad sides form the active group. TRPA always stand for meeting the public demands and in this process is well supported by Railway men, Political leaders and the media in Thrissur.
The tireless efforts by TRPA in achieving the long standing, basic requirements of Thrissur are well recognised and appreciated by one and all. TRPA is committed to continue its services to the society at large, cutting across all divisions.
“Our prime focus is on the sustainable improvement of Rail service in the country to world class levels with special emphasis on Thrissur.”

ReplyDeleteSir,
Kindly take urgent steps for the following grievances which are useful for the daily passengers travelling to Malabar area who are always been neglected.
1. Introduction of memu services at the earliest in the Ernakulam-Shornur sector at the earliest.
2. Extension of Thrissur-Kannur passenger train (No.615) to Chalakudy (OR introduction of memu service instead upto Shornur from Ernakulam connecting Shornur-Kannur passenger(Thrissur-Kannur)
3. Making Ernakulam-Pune Express as daily train and the departure time from Thrissur may changed to 6.45 AM
4.Extending Kannur-Shornur passenger (616) to Thrissur (or introduction of memu from shornur to ernakulam connecting the 616 passenger)
Looking forward for immediate action from TRPA.
I am a frequent passenger from Irinjalakuda railway station residing at Aloor, Thrissur

It would be highly useful if TRPA can request to Railways connection train for Train No.22610 Palakkad-Mangalore express. The daily passengers traveling towards Kozhikode from Thrissur need this at the earliest. The service may be scheduled so as to reach the Shornur station at 8.00 am
