On 20/06/2009, GVR-EKM 301 Passenger Train was delayed
by an hour to depart from Thrissur as Egmore- GVR Express was running late and N.Delhi- TVM Kerala Express reached Thrissur by abouut 30 mts. early. The passengers under TRPA banner made agitation in front of Station Manager's chamber and later received assurance from the M.P. and Railway Authorities that such acts will not be repeated in future.
